I listened on Audio mostly and was hooked. I appreciate the story is a fictionalized version of the terrible acts of he who shall not be named or "the defendant." It humanized the victims and loved ones, fictionally, instead of glamourizing the perpetrator, for a change. I am happy to have finally gotten to this one. There would be a higher rating if there weren't so many unanswered questions for me but overall, this was awesome, and I would highly recommend. Will for sure check out more from this author.

3.5 it was different than I expected when I started reading. I was drawn to reading a new perspective on this horrific case- particularly because I attended the university that part of the story takes place in. I was angry hearing all the ways that he was glamorized and the idiocy of why he was able to continue his spree because of negligence. The dual stories that threaded together kept my interest.
