I could not put this down! I did a combination of digital and audio for this book and the narrators really brought the characters to life. It also helped with some of the Irish slang that I wasn't familiar with. This book follows Ruby and James at Maxton Hall. All Ruby wants to do at Maxton is remain a fly on the wall and finish out her studies without any more problems. That plan is all ruined when she sees something she's not supposed tto. Their unlikely friendship is certainly one for the books. In his attempt to protect his sister, It's very much Gossip Girl vibes and I honestly can' wait to finish all the books and see how the TV show compares. Jaa was soll ich sagen. Es war gut und ich hätte es bestimmt noch mehr geliebt, hätte ich nicht vorher die Serie auf Amazon Prime gesehen. Da ich schon eigentlich alles wusste was passiert, war es nicht immer sehr spannend. Aber irgendwie hat es mich doch zeitweise sehr in den Bann gezogen. Es ist ein gutes Buch gar keine Frage. Das Ende nervt. Das steht auch außer Frage, aber es muss ja weiterhin spannend bleiben. Der Ausbruch von Ruby beim Q&A hat mich dermaßen getwittert... Es war so cringe das zu lesen. Sie hatte noch nie so viele Maincharacter-Vibes, was irgendwie auch komisch ist, da sie zu Beginn alles in ihrer Macht stehende tut, um bloß nicht aufzufallen. Weird
