Believeathon, Book the Third
Prompt: Fly high in the sky/in the clouds you will soar/to worlds unimagined/and lands unexplored (Read a book that is set far away from where you live) (Most of the events in this book take place in what was formerly Yugoslavia, or, as the book has it, Jugo-Slavia)

I'm not going to give spoilers here but I'm pretty sure I know exactly which two Agatha Christie books this one is based on ; ) Also we meet Hazel's dad in this story (and learn her Chinese name) and it's great

Charming mystery aimed at younger readers that's a stylistic sibling to the Flavia De Luce mysteries by Alan Bradley. An homage to Murder on The Orient Express, this book is filled with colorful characters, but the mystery is only a puzzle and the resolution comes all of a sudden.

Another beautifully crafted mystery. I love how Stevens takes the tropes of 1930s detective fiction and brings them into a YA novel. I also think this books is a lot more socially conscious than the previous ones. (I'm still upset about Arsenic for Tea's reveal) Again, I miss the cruelty between Wells and Wong we saw in the first book. But for a YA mystery fiction I can think of no better series.

Another thrilling mystery from Robin Stevens! We finally meet Hazel's father, the girls solve a locked room style case, meet a few other amateur sleuths, and a few old friends...
