A heartwarming short tale

I didn’t want to like Delilah at first. It’s hard to be sympathetic for a conwoman. Especially since Axel was such a sweetheart who had been done wrong already. But this story and the way we experience their lives through these words warms your heart and makes you care for these characters. Great afternoon read.

Axel
Single Daddy Shifters book one
by Tasha Black

When Delilah realizes that her stolen car is at the wrong place she quickly agrees that she's the nanny that Axel is waiting for to take care of his nephew Noah. Little does either person know that she's never watched a child in her life and she's a con artist to the max.

What happens next is that she realizes that taking care of Noah isn't as hard as she thought and even though she can't stay forever maybe if a trade could be made her her family will let her go and make a new life with Axel and Noah forever? Can she risk it all to be happy and have a real family with the men she loves?

Axel is book one in the Single Daddy Shifters series by Tasha Black.

I wanted to like this novel. Sexy single shifter dad’s. Ya! Who doesn’t like a single sexy shifter daddy, but it turns out I couldn’t finish.

It’s got no depth. No plot. No personalities to the characters. Just bland. My other issue is that the leads don’t know each other and on the first night they are in Axel’s house they kiss and hop into bed. That’s just way to quick.

I won't be reading anymore in the Single Daddy Shifters series. Axel was not the book for me. If the blurb intrigues you, I urge you to give it a shot. Just because it did not work for me does not mean it won’t for you.

A quick read that was sweet but a tad unbelievable (yeah, I know it’s a fantasy and technically it’s believable in that world) but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it :3
