This follows up a few months after A King So Cold. Audra is linked with Zad and everything is going well...until Audra is kidnapped by the King of Beldine. The King wants Zad, but the only way to get him is to steal Audra to lure him to the Fae lands. Zad is the rightful heir of the lands, but wants nothing to do with it. Audra was so evil and cunning in A King So Cold. In this book she is more soft, which felt out of character. I got tired of the drama with Audra and Zad with are they or aren’t they. A lot of things were anti-climatic. This was just okay and felt like a let down of an ending.

I love Ella and her books I am just not a fantasy fan :( I tried so hard to love this book but for me it was just an ok read.

This book, is very much like it's predecessor in it's relationship first, plot second. And boy, they are toxic for a large portion of this book. But I didn't hate it, it was still a pretty entertaining read, if a bit dark. <Spoiler> They sort their shit out eventually

I loved this book so much! I fell in love with Audra and Zad in the first book and omg the 2nd book was even better !!!!
The storyline was so good and I did not see it coming, especially as I love faeries so this was even more perfect for me. The ending was beautifully perfect too, the epilogue just completed the story for me
