I think you can see where this book is going from the very first chapter. The age-old question of nature vs nurture. I liked the idea of the main character being a crisis response worker like myself, but that quickly got out of hand. The book also never addressed one of the key things I was waiting for. Ultimately, it was a short, super fast-paced listen. The best part is this is more "acted out" than the typical audiobook since that is what was written for!

HUGE trigger warnings for sexual assault of a minor, with some graphic details included.
