Wow this book is HEAVY. Not the easy thriller listen that I expected. Brought me to tears twice. A little predictable and the narrator seemed a little too Pollyanna in the beginning, but that’s okay—it’s all handled well and not every story needs twists.

The narrator was good.

This was my first book from Lucinda Berry and boy did it throw me through a loop.

SA is already a sensitive topic for me. The victims name is the same as my daughter. Then to find out her son was behind all of these attacks. I respect Felicia’s decision in the end to report her son. I can imagine that it is not easy, but she made the right one.
