"Mothers protect their children at all costs, but what if your child was the one others needed protection from?" ~ Disturbing…with much food for thought.

Very good production, very immersive. The story was very compelling and heart wrenching.

This is a perfect audiobook. Quick, engaging, and has you at the edge of your seat the entire time. I love Lucinda's writing, and this audiobook did not disappoint. I listened to it in less than a day because I needed to know what happened. If you are not usually an audiobook person, try this audiobook out. You will not be disappointed. Also, A.J. Cook did an amazing job in this narration!

New fear unlocked. This was a rough story, but such a unique perspective. Trigger warning for sexual abuse and suicide. Nature vs. nurture. What a twist!

A quick, well done listen! It really makes you think.. what would you do in the same situation. I honestly don’t know.

Kind of predictable. But kept my attention the whole time. One of the better narrated audiobooks in my opinion. Typically have a hard time with fiction but this one kept my attention.

I will read or watch anything the Criminal Minds cast writes or acts in. That being said, when I learned that JJ from Criminal Minds was the voice actress for this, I immediately started listening.

This is my first Lucinda Berry book and it did not let me down. It was very well written and very easy to digest.

What a ride.
From the 911 phone call conversations, to helping a caller through a traumatic experience… to finding out that person closest to you was responsible for such a crime….

Literally SO good! 5/5 ⭐️
