This was a great audiobook. The narrators were awesome, and you really felt the emotion in their voices. I saw a few other reviews saying it was predictable, but I still found it thrilling and extremely heartbreaking.
What's more important? Nature or Nurture? Listen to this audiobook for a very compelling theory.
I totally would read this as a full length novel with more details about the narrator's life and her past. Overall this was a great experience and I totally recommend to other thriller lovers and/or fans of Lucinda Berry.

Kinda wish the ending would've been just a little more "dragged" out rather than "here's how it is, the end". Felt like the Author was trying to sweep a bit too much under the rug instead of telling it out like the rest of the story.
Gotta love A.J. Cook's narration though.

Fantastic Novella highlighting the nature versus nurture argument. How much of our biology really impacts our behavior, personality, and ultimately the person we become.
One of the things that I love about LB is how she is able to weave these complex storylines together. I love the character depth that she can create in one chapter.
As a mental health provider, I am fascinated by the pathology behind profound mental illness. I need to know/see all the pieces. It's a puzzle. I think that LB does a fantastic job at putting together these story lines that poke at the back of our psyche, because from the outside it really is a situation that can happen to anyone.

Wow! The audiobook was amazing. Deff pay attention to the trigger warnings because it was very emotional. Though, I predicted the ending, I still enjoyed the book.
