I was riveted through most of it, and I loved the reframing of the narrative each time through an increasingly fantastical lens. The last few chapters felt a little near and compact because we were only left with the big bad, and I wanted a little more in the final reconciliation.

This story had so many unexpected moments and it was smarter and more creative that I had anticipated. It’s been described as a modern day fairy tale, with fantastical and magical situations but also fairly dark and violent events take place using present day mediums. While not everything works and at time its a bit confusing, overall it was very enjoyable.
