Dit boek wisselt zo vaak van genre, wat op zichzelf wel cool is, maar doet helaas niet alles even goed. Het was op z’n best in de (duistere) sprookjesachtige stukken, en zelfs prima in de familiedrama-stukken, maar er zaten ook hele stukken in over Ouder Zijn™️ die net iets te veel lijken op hoe een nieuwe ouder eindeloos over hun kind kan zwetsen.

Wellicht hier een daar wat overdadig milleniallig maar wel in ieder geval nergens saai!

This book made me feel every single emotion. I was happy, sad, angry, disgusted, sad again, a little optimistic and then I was punched in the face, thought I could trust again, no, never mind, confused, angry again, happy again… and then also, confused, again.

So yeah, 10/10 recommend this emotional rollercoaster of a book. Can’t wait to watch it on Apple TV and feel all the feels again.

honestly one of the worst books I’ve ever read. i am actually mad about it.

someone’s review says: “there’s literally a bad guy who is named kinder garten and he’s also an internet troll as well as the handler of an actual troll and i just dont understand novels anymore”
