Ok. Their romance sounded too good to be true. The book is conversation-based, which made it annoying to read because it felt like the author was just feeding us information instead of showing us. It was a cute summer romance book.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you to Lisa and Melissa for letting me take part in this tour and for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I absolutely loved the first 2 books in the Steele's series which is also set on Silver Island so I was very excited to return.

This is the first book in the Silver Harbor series. Abby has just returned to the island and Aiden is on holiday. Aiden has been in the background of a few of Melissa's previous books and I've been rooting for him to get his story..

Aiden is a true gentleman. Bringing up his little sister has shown him how to be a great partner. He has learnt how to listen and remember. He takes in everything Abby says, even when she is speaking a mile a minute, and remembers everything she says. He shows he not only listens but that he cares, in the things he does for her.

Abby is fiercely independent. She has been relying on herself since she was 9 years old and she's not about to start relying on anyone now. She is determined to make her dreams come true. I really liked Abby. She is so strong and hard-working.

I loved Abby's sisters, Cait and Dee. I also loved their group of friends. Cait really started to come out of her shell towards the end and Dee is going to be such fun when she finally takes a break from work. The bonfire and the dinner they all have together are such great scenes. They really show what a community Silver Island is.

Melissa captured my attention from the beginning and I got swept up in the romance of this story. The island is such a romantic location. I could spend so much time discovering new places and getting swept up by island fever. I can't wait for more books set on this beautiful island. There are so many people that have a story to tell here and I want to hear them all.

I loved a lot of things about this book, but it was way too long and slow moving for a book that wasn't a slow burn love story. The main characters were great and got together very quickly, but the story was boring and filled with a lot of unnecessary details. I got bored and almost gave up on it. I will say, the end did get me a tad teary eyed. I loved the outcome, which is truly the most important part. I just didn't love how long it took to get there. 3.5 stars from me.

I've loved every book I've read by Ms. Foster, but this one just grabbed me in a different way.

I loved the way that Aiden and Abby met; how they just immediately felt comfortable with each other and told the other things that they didn't (and most people don't) tell others so soon. Their instant connection was awe inspiring.

I also love how the author always intertwines characters from so many of her other books into each new book she writes. It's fun to catch up with the ones you've already met and meet new ones that you want to see more of.

I could love living on Silver Island!

Maybe We Will is the first book in the Silver Harbor series, and it was a wonderful book to start it off with. The author has a unique way of weaving characters between series so you never know which characters you will get to see again when reading one of her books and from what I understand the main characters (Abby and Aiden) were seen in a previous series. The book was paced perfectly, easy to read, and I was caught up in the story from the beginning.
Aiden Aldridge was a workaholic and never took time off for fun. His sister wanted him to relax and sent him to Silver Island with a “Let Loose List.” The list includes fun things for him to do while on vacation, but he has no desire to relax and take time off from work. At least, he not until he met Abby de Messieres.
Abby is a chef, and she returns to Silver Island when her mother died to settle her affairs. She has good memories of the family restaurant and wants to reopen it. The restaurant had been neglected over the years, but she had big dreams to revamp it.
This was a heart-warming story of sisterhood, family, friendship, compassion, and romance. I fell in love with the small town of Silver Island and all the charming characters. Abby was so sincere, full of sunshine, and always tried to see the good in a situation. She wanted to create happy memories for others just like her father did. Aiden wanted to help Abby with the restaurant, but he did not want to tell Abby how bad things really were and how much money it would require. He tried not to take over the project, but it was hard for him because he wanted her dreams to come true. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the future books in the series.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is such a fantastic romance. Abby and Aiden's story is one that I couldn't put down. The romance was overflowing from this story and felt like a fairytale. As someone who loves fairytales this book has become a favorite of mine. I wish Silver Island was real so I could visit. I definitely recommend reading this book.

I adored this book! I originally picked it up because I missed Silver Island but then I fell in love with Abby, her sisters, and Aiden.

Abby is a chef who comes home to Silver Island to get her late mother's affairs in order. When she gets there, she and her sister find out they have a half-sister. I really liked how well the three girls fit together and how Abby and Dierdre embraced Cait as their family. One of the first days back on the island, Abby also meets Aiden, who's on a forced vacation.

This was an extra bonus for me because I really enjoyed Aiden's sister - Remi Divine - in The Real Thing. Where she was the gorgeous actress in that one, she's more of a sweet and caring sister who just wants her workaholic brother to relax.

Abby and Aiden are perfect for each other! He is so supportive of her as she's going about restoring her parents' restaurant and I think he's part of the reason she's able to connect with Cait so well, too. Their romance is fast, intense, and I absolutely loved it!

Maybe We Will is the perfect start to a beautiful new series and I'm eager to continue with Cait's love story.

Book one in Silver Harbor series is off to an excellent start. We meet two very different workaholics who through happenstance find their way to each other. The protective nature for Aiden Aldridge comes into play when he meets Abby de Messiéres while he's supposed to be relaxing on an enforced vacation. And when he finds out more as to why she's back on the island he's find something other than work that sparks his interests. With Abby focusing on putting her life to rights and dealing with unexpected circumstances she's willing to take a cautious step towards experiences with Aiden. Now then simply need to trust in the bricks they are building towards their foundation for the future.
