I had so much fun reading this book. The plot is engaging and the characters are interesting, especially the Sinful Ladies.
I looking forward to read the other books in the series.

At first I thought, "Oh dear, what did I pick up?" But some little voice in my head said, "Keep reading." Thankfully, I listened. This book is really quite endearing. A bit quirky and you have to just role with the "I'm a fierce woman CIA agent" stuff. But the characters come alive and I really could see the old ladies just as Deleon wrote them.

I haven't been much for series right now, but I'm going to pick up the next title in this one!

A very cute and fun read. Exactly what I was looking for. All the characters are so great. I enjoyed the description of Louisiana, the bayous, swamps, alligators and the Sinful ladies. Looks like I'll be reading more of Ms. Jana Deleon when the time's right. :)

A Bad A**, Accident Prone, CIA Agent is a Fish Out of Water

Take a no-nonsense, highly trained, CIA agent and put her deep under cover in the most foreign place she’s ever been, Louisiana. Add hilarious hi-jinks with a couple old ladies who are definitely not exactly what they seem, and find yourself laughing out loud while reading this book. I’m definitely looking forward to the further adventure…

Loved this cosy crime. Think ‘Miss Congeniality’ mixed with ‘Thursday Murder Club’ vibes. Enter Miss Fortune, CIA agent hiding out in the swamps of Louisiana due to a bounty being placed on her head by an arms dealer. Life is supposed to be quiet in the small town she is sent to, but the reality is louder than a firework display on Christmas morning. When bones wash up in the bayou everyone looks toward the newcomer, putting Fortune in a sticky situation. Can she figure out who the killer is before it’s pinned on her, or has she run her last Banana Pudding race?
