This whole series was just okay. Good idea, but the execution wasn’t great, and it wasn’t nearly so good as Redwall.

Great storytelling and scene setting. Characters are easy to love or despise. Jacques continues his signature conversations that include food, eating, singing and dancing. Reading stories like this make me really thankful of the world I live in now!!

I really liked this series. It made me laugh and cry, and the characters were wonderfully done. I wish that there were more books in it.
