It’s a small collection of four Poirot stories. The stories themselves are enjoyable and among the more popular ones. If you wish to read a little Poirot, it’s not bad, but there’s  better short story collections by Christie.

An excellent collection of short stories. I can't believe what Christie achieved in such a few words. Such vivid tales, with original characters and witty plots. Her short stories are very underrated.

I am rather sad she didn't turn the Egyptian story into a novel, however, as I think the atmosphere and settings would have made for an interesting read.

A nice and easy read. I like to read Christie as a 'palate cleanser' on occasion and this was perfect for the purpose. Would recommend to all readers.

Great introduction into Poirot mysteries. Variety of stories with different characters & plots. Clearly see why Agatha Christie remains a timeless author. Enjoyed small introductions to all 4 stories. However, the 4 edited stories could have been replaced with unedited stories, to allow for further world building and character development.
