Another day, another Fruits Basket. Sure this one had more depth, and I appreciated that. But it also felt kind of over-the-top. A bit forced and a bit trying too hard. I did like the flashback seen of the first meeting of Yuki and Tohru Honda. And Cinderella-ish was definitely okay-ish. I just want the story to finally move on. 3.5 of 5.

Yuki's past is tragic and the cultural festival is hilarious, this volume goes from one side of the emotional spectrum right to the other!
