I wanted to read this book because the original Twilight Zone is my favorite television show and the episodes written by Charles Beaumont were among my favorites. There were some really good stories in this book. I was surprised at how funny some of them were. I laughed out loud at a couple of them. However, it was a mixed bag for me.  Some of the stories were very good and I will probably think of these for a long time. Unfortunately, not all of the stories worked for me.
