I'm a huge Rebels fan, so of course I'm a little bias when I see the crew of the Ghost again. So I think if you're like me, you'll enjoy this comic as a little treat. If you've never watched the show, it's probably not the greatest adaptation of the first episodes, but it is a good gateway drug.

Art: I loved the art, it had a unique flair to it, which I always enjoy. The panels just look really nice. I like how they adapted all the characters into the manga style. It's also really cute.

Story: The adaptation of course isn't one to one, and skips ALOT. It covers both episodes of Spark of Rebellion. I would say it adds to it in a good way. There's alot of heart and fluff? I guess. Like I said it's just very cute. I really liked that approach, it makes the crew feel alot more like a family. It's almost fanfic, but good fanfic. Ezra's character seems like he'd be more likeable to people new to Rebels, the expand on him a tad bit more.

I really like this comic, I wouldn't reccomend to everyone, but if you want a fun and sweet Star Wars read here you are.

I have to admit first that I haven’t seen the series; Star Wars Rebels. I definitely will be adding it to my watch list now!

This is a great start to a series in the Star Wars world and I love expanding my Star Wars Universe with these manga novels. The art is so good but sometimes gets lost in the action. I love the way the eyes look. Anyway, I’m looking forward to volume two!!

Manga Star Wars is always worth looking at, and I like the art in this book. I also love Rebels in any format. But this manga retelling of the first couple episodes of the TV series doesn't add anything particularly new or interesting to the story or characters. Also, it's a strange choice to use swearing, when the TV series didn't have any of that. Why does everyone yell "Dammit" so often? That's wrong.
