This series has been so completely different than I thought it would be, and not particularly in a good way. It was recommended as New Adult Fantasy Romance and I think the romance part should definitely be thrown out of there because that isn't accurate at all. I know there is supposed to be some that comes into play in hopefully the next coming books but um. Nothing basically right now. It's also very dark and there are so many things I'm in the dark about. I'm trying to push through but man the end of this book was so fucked and I really hate the direction it went in. I guess we'll see how this goes, but I'm like sick to my stomach right now. So many sexual assault warnings are needed for this series.
Wow. This book was so good, and so very very intense. Massive kudos to the awesome plot and world building, and the slow burn romance being FIRE without sacrificing the rest of the story.

Things are getting so intense and there are so many different things happening at once and I'm loving these so so much! I don't really want to say too much, because I'll probably spill spoilers but needless to say, I love these and they're awesome. This one particularly so.
