4.06 AVERAGE

I truly enjoy these books and think they are great for what they are: fast-paced, fantasy romance/adventure. I'm not looking for anything deep or thought provoking, just really enjoyable reading. These books are perfect!

4.5 because I didn’t like the ending

This series is unbelievably good. Every single book in this series I’ve rated 5 stars. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Has this ever happened before? Nope.
It’s perfect and I love it and I don’t want it to end.

I admit, my rating may be a bit harsh. I really enjoy this series so far. And the first two books were great. This one was really good too. I appreciate that Mac is increasingly being more proactive. The MacHalo was hilarious. The chapter where V'lane explained some Fae history was satisfying. However, for this being the third book, I expected more answers, a little bit more progression than what was given. Barrons is still a complete mystery. Did we learn anything more about Mac's ancestry or her powers? Not really. Was V'lane's insight into why everyone else wants the book, correct? Power, cause...power? No OOPs were collected. I'm a bit frustrated with these things.
The ending was good, even if stomach wrenching. Setting up more tension and eminent danger is something this book does add to the overall story.
Overall, I think Book 3 does bring something to the table, but not as much as I would like.

I thought that I liked this book more than the previous ones ....then that ending came !! ugh

There was a particularly disturbing scene near the end of the book, that's why I'm marking this one lower than the previous books in the series.

OMG... That book was just about X-Rated.
adventurous dark emotional fast-paced

Ok...this book does not sit well with me! There is so much retelling of "facts" that it becomes a bit tiresome. I wanted to see more of Christian MacKelter (by the way...he is connected to the Highlander series - I like the connections between the Highlanders and this Fever series). I would have liked a bit more interaction between Mac and Barrons. I know who and what I want Barrons to be...not sure it will happen. I also know how I want V'Lane to fit in...am not sure that will happen.
Eating Unseelies...ooo...Gross! Stop doing it! So not worth it me thinks.
This story had potential to be a story instead of a "filler" until the next book. Yet..yet, it should be read because there are a few new details to not be missed.

WOW! What an ending...although I have to say it sucks having such a cliffie if you don't have the next book. Luckily I do have the next one, but man o man I have tons of questions.
