These books get a little bit better with every one. Mac continues on her journey of growth and everyone keeps doing magical shit. We’ve got more questions and no answers. It’s pretty much more of the same but it’s great. And the ending will have your heart racing!
Whatever flaw there are (and I’m sure there are plenty) are easy enough to overlook bc the story is so compelling and entertaining. Gotta say though, I don’t love the characterization or writing of Dani and the sidhe seers in general are my least favorite part.

Mac - bless her cotton socks - is trying her hardest to prove to everyone that she is not this Southern Belle anymore and she is definitely getting there. Even in a chaotic way.
As her journey progresses in each book the story just gets more and more interesting. It's made all the more fun by anticipating what dilemma Mac is going to get herself into next. There are moments where the story repeats itself with information from the previous books to catch readers up and it could be cut short a bit. I was expecting more development with Barrons in this one but he seemed to be put on the back burner, it was more focused on Mac finding out the roles of other characters and the part they play in this game she's trapped in. All the characters are extremely interesting and bring something different to the story. Making Mac's quest that much harder.

THAT ENDING OMG. Best one of the series yet. That cliffhanger omg. Luckily I have Dreamfever on hand.
The series is really starting to get exciting. I still have so many questions and even as we get answers here and there, I'm both looking forward to answers and don't want the series to end at the same time. What a great recommendation Ali!!

These books are weird. Like I get sick of them and feel like no character is somebody I care about yet I can't put the book down. Will I finish the series? Absolutely. Do I feel weird about it? A little bit.
