This book was so good. And then came the ending. Then it became *extremely good*. Rotten characters, good characters, clues that don’t feel like clues, and a setting that could have been your backyard but could have also been the surface of Mars. Approachable and impossible, both in the best ways. Funny at times, always fun to read. Read the first book before this one, but try to read them back to back just because they are so good. Happiest book moment of the year was discovering this was a series and not only do I have the third book on my shelf, I’m excited for the fourth to come out soon.
There's one thing mystery readers love more than a book set on a train... a fresh story. And holy hell did Stevenson deliver just that. I thought I enjoyed the first book but that was nothing compared to the sheer thrill I felt reading this. A true joy to enjoy, and it firmly lands Stevenson on the 'Always Buy From This Authour' List.

I love Ernest Cunningham and his stories! I enjoyed Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone after reading it on vacation last year and knew I was going to continue with the Ernest saga afterwards.
It’s very spot on, humorous, and I did not predict the villain by the end. That’s what I like out of a good WhoDunIt.
I look forward to the next books in the series, and any other books down the line.
