Me gustó este libro. Fue original, realista. Me gustó el tono de conversación con el lector y los plot twists. El epílogo me encantó, muy buen cierre.
Sin embargo, creo que al final es demasiado forzado que prácticamente todas las historias estén entrelazadas

Was a little slower for me than the first one, but dang I just love Ernest’s narration.

This was good! Loved the mystery part of this, but definitely struggled with the writing style (being told in first person, with the narrator, Ernest, talking with the reader about writing the book). I kind of slogged through the first half of the book (before any of the 'action' happened), as it was mostly Ernest explaining and talking through things with the reader. Once the action started, it was a lot more entertaining and kept me guessing about the killer. I did correctly guess the killer at one point, but it was more just a consideration than a full accusation. Definitely didn't pick up on all of the clues and easter eggs throughout.

Plot wise, and all the twists, probably would have set this book higher than the first in the series for me. The narrator, the mmc, irritated the hell out of me, though. Moreso than in the first one. Not degrading his trauma-induced insecurities, but I really wanted to shake him sometimes. Even with his own self-acknowledgement of his inability to shut up or refrain from doing stupid things, it was just a lot. But, still a fun and interesting whodunit. The pages were turned quickly and the ending chapter's final surprise got me. Okay, maybe I'll give it a 3.5
