GAY RIGHTS GAY RIGHTS.
I really liked this volume, sure it's a slow burn, and I'd rather they just end up by the end of the first volume in romance comics but it is what it is. The slow burn is great again in this. And I love Kakeru, he's so cute, and his interactions with Yamato are adorable.
Also school trips are my weakness, no matter how all Japanese comics always seem to go to Kyoto. They're just fun to read.
I like how basically half the cast is cheering these two on to confess, it adds stake, I like how their pining isn't in a bubble. And other people are pushing them around or pulling them away. I really like the supporting cast, especially Akane and Hosaka. Akane has a small arc? or side story I guess, it's very short, but it's connected to the romance and just hits really hard. I like what they did with her. They also tried to expand her character when she cuts her hair. Also Hosaka, he's amazing and really works well to advance the plot. Also he's just a good comedic character, not all comedy but just a little.
I love the themes of bonds, again, TAKE NOTES PEOPLE. JUST ASK THEM.
It's not just a simple "pining pining, what if he says no?" there's DEPTH and DRAMA.
Also I love the moments that tease their relationship, they're just really cute. AND IT MAKES YOU WANT THEM TO JUST DATE ALREADY. Anways the volume was really cute and had drama.
Good read! BUT PLEASE LET THEM DATE......
