A very interesting book with a really cool mythology and world-building. However, it felt very rushed at times and the artwork wasn’t my favorite. Still, I’m definitely intrigued enough to read Volume 2.

Story unravels at a nice pace. While I like the art style and non linear/box form, it can be confusing at times. I see it as sandman esque in its non-linear was but to me it’s not intuitive like sandman was. The art sometimes also comes across as muddled in the fight scenes. Abstract or zoomed in a way that is hard to understand. Interesting though

Definitely a unique story line and is good as a stand alone comic (with conclusion!)

I didn't really like this at all. The story felt like it was all over the place. The art is good, but it's not really my taste.

Honestly the aesthetic of this comic really got me. The story is interesting, and the lore is great.

if i had to rate the art i would probably give it a 10 out of 5. every single page looks fascinating, but the story itself was boring and poorly executed.

If the words "Surrealist Feminist Anime-Influenced Western" does anything for you - drop what you are doing right now and pick this book up
For all its difficult visual geometry, the payoff for discerning each frame is what sets this comic apart from the rest. It is difficult to follow, but if you stick with it, the symbolism and surrealism should be enough to convince anyone that comics can truly be works of art.
Really - the writing and art here is top-notch. I can't think of a single bad thing to say. I read this twice in one sitting. .
