Cheesy, fun book. If you want a light hearted read that will keep you chuckling as you plug along, this will certainly fit the mold.

I started reading this a long while ago, then stopped, and restarted just in time for christmas.

Moore once again leads us to Pine Cove and its quirky inhabitants and throws in some supernatural stuff to get the action started. It is a lot of fun.

Very cute and funny. I like the Pine Cove bunch. Mr. Moore needs to let us visit them again soon.

I was laughing out loud at this funny tale, causing other people at the airport to try to peek at what I was reading. That Raziel is so clueless!

Period-accurate Problematic™️ elements, but call me a deus ex fruitbat if I didn't have a good time.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this! It was hilarious and wonderfully weird, and I loved the story and ridiculous characters. I'll definitely be reading more of Moore's stuff.

I didn't like this as much as I expected. Basically, the story takes place in a small town at Christmas, and features oddball characters and zombies. I kid you not. It's a farce, and as a result not meant to be realistic, but for some reason it just didn't click with me. I think I would have liked to see more of the title character, who didn't seem to have much to do with the story at all, at least to me. That said, it was a pretty quick read (which actually is making me think this might have been better distilled down to a couple of short stories).
