I had the opportunity to read an ARC copy of Devil’s Desire by Trish Heinrich, book 2 of The Celestial Superheroes series. Devil's Desire focuses on Ava and Ravi this time around. Ava is one of the Dearborne siblings blessed (or cursed) with celestial powers. Ravi, her once childhood best friend, was accidentally turned into a vampire/incubus after almost dying. This story focuses on both of these two overcoming some recent setbacks in their lives and finding each other again.
I loved that this was written in dual POV. I really enjoyed getting to see and learn more about the Dearborne family. Just like book one this book has not only a good plot but the steam and spice you want! I will say I felt like the couple's "resolution" was a bit quick and I kind of wanted to see more about what happened after that.
So overall, GO READ THIS BOOK!! It’s a can’t miss paranormal romance. Angels, demons, incubus/succubus, witches and more...what else do you need! Just like in book 1, I was pulled in by side characters and I am definitely looking forward to reading book 3. I need to know what happens with Max and his new mission!

I love Ava Dearborne’s story so much! In this second installment of Silver City Celestials we get to know Ava and Ravi. I love the arc that Ava goes on in this book, her sassiness, her vulnerability and her witty banter (those Dearbornes!) and her fight to become who she was always meant to be. Ravi is also amazing and I enjoyed how Heinrich has managed to communicate the subtle ways we often self sabotage loving relationships through Ravis story. Very enjoyable!
