“Why be jealous when you can be turned on?”
This was such a beautiful story. I loved seeing the growth in all three characters and the way that they came to terms with their feelings and how they ultimately accepted that what they were feeling was not wrong.
Hunter, Isabel, and Drake have always been a package deal, and even after Hunter and Isabel got married, they always included Drake in all their adventures. One night while they're on the hunt for a new club to expand the business, Drake and Isabel get called on stage for a shibari demonstration which awakens in Hunter the desire to see his wife and best friend together. In turn, this causes all the hidden desires they all had towards each other to come to light.
I loved how they all had their own journey of healing, self-discovery, and self-acceptance. The author did such a beautiful job of writing their stories in a way that none of them took away from the others. The narrators also did a great job of bringing the characters' journey and healing process to life.
Quote: “I guess that means a person can have more than one soul mate, because these two are so crucial to my happiness that I’d live a miserable existence without them. But I’m done thinking I don’t deserve them. As long as I give them all of me, then I deserve them, and I always have.”

It was going pretty well until the dynamic in the relationship shifted and it’s become a little lopsided. I felt like the balance wasn’t there enough between all of them, it was rather more about Hunter and Drake and Isabel was left out. I don’t know, the last 20% kind of disappointed me a little and the story lost me.
This was my first polyamorous book and I was one hundred percent expecting spice, but I wasn’t expecting how emotional this book would be. The connection between Drake, Isabel and Hunter was more than sexual, it was a story where each person found a soulmate in each other.
It was so interesting reading an unconventional romance and seeing how between the three of them it was something that they initially struggled to understand but once they realised they all loved each other and explored their sexuality it was like a puzzle clicking into place.
I enjoyed every part of it, it felt so wholesome, especially seeing Drake who was once a player that couldn’t settle down to finally realise it was Isabel and Hunter who he belonged with.
However, having said the above, if you are looking forward to smut, this book definitely brought it. Sara Cate knows how to write spice

Another great book by Sara Cate! Hunter, Drake and Isabel are a throuple to be reckoned with. I hate that they had the forever wanting one another and so they spend every waking hour together and the unnecessary jealousy at the beginning of the book, but those were major character and plot points and so therefore I can move past them.
The actual meat of the book, pun unintended, picked up quickly. We jumped right into the road trip and what their mission was. It was quick to bring the, together at Hunter’s request, but for a group that works in a s*x clubs Isabel and Drake where sure judgemental of Hunter’s desires.
Hunter especially goes through some major character growth that was truly necessary. He was frankly rather selfish most of this book, and Drake and Isabel did not deserve that behavior.

Phew, this book made me sweat like no other. Hunter, Drake, and Isabel together was everything I never knew I needed. Hunter's realization of his sexual orientation made my heart happy, especially after the upbringing he had. At this point, Sara Cate can do no wrong!
