First reread since I read it for the first time 6 years ago. I loved it. The only thing that kind of bugged me a bit was the pacing. Other than that it’s so great. I loved being back in this world and with these characters whom I love so much.

¿Porque? Pues apesar de que me a gustado me a costado bastante terminarla…
Empeze a leerla pero no me atrapo, no sentia conexion con los personajes ni con la historia…fue hasta mitad del libro o un poco más en donde empezo a engancharme… Espero que el siguiente libro sea mucho mejor

Actually a pretty enjoyable read! It was a bit longer than what I usually read and the plot twist was “interesting.” Even though it was a long book, the world building was really well done. An excellent fantasy choice! Clary is kinda dumb and the book leaves a cliffhanger because it’s a series, but that’s really my only critiques.

A verdade é que sou uma fã incondicional de tudo o que é fantasia é sobrenatural e, por esse motivo, não podia deixar de adorar este livro.
Adoro o mundo criado pela Cassandra Clare e a relação de todas as personagens apesar de que gostaria que algumas relações se tivessem desenvolvido um pouquinho mais. Apaixonei-me pela Clary, o Jace, o Simon, o Luke, o Alec, todos eles me fizeram estar agarrada à história. Até mesmo o Valentine, tenho um grande amor-ódio pelos vilões!
Não lhe consegui dar as cinco estrelas por razões meramente pessoais. Encontrei alguns problemas com o passo da história e não consegui ficar tão agarrada como gostaria. Ainda assim, penso que os últimos capítulos me mantiveram totalmente presa.
Tenciono ler toda a série e estou ansiosa para pegar no segundo livro, na esperança que consiga gostar ainda mais dele!

At first I loved it and was going to give it a 4.5 but then the ending just docked it down to a 3. It was very convoluted and sometimes hard to follow. When I closed the book I was a mix of anger, disgust, weirded out and very dissatisfied. I’m going to keep reading the series cause in the end I really did like the book, I really liked the characters but it definitely needs to be redeemed in my eyes.
