Honestly so cute, yeah there were a lot of mistakes and grammar and spelling wasn’t the best but the main storyline was honestly cute and the ending heartbreaking. Im glad she wrote 2 endings for the people who wanted a different one, I feel like overall the book was written in 2021 and it’s honestly good, it wasn’t a big read but it was a small simple read and I enjoyed it. Also I love how in the beginning she said it was more of a romance than a mafia book, if she hadn’t said that I’d forget they were in the mafia because it’s not mentioned often, but when it is, it’s important to the storyline. I also love how the author always tells you when there’s a smut scene because I don’t read them and it helps me skip it perfectly. I also love how it wasn’t filled with the scenes and it doesn’t affect the storyline. All in all it was so cute and I get the hype, maybe a little overhyped but it was definitely a cute read.
5/5 It may not be a literary masterpiece, but no book has ever stayed with me like this one. I was just twelve—fresh out of Goosebumps and Geronimo Stilton—when I stumbled into my first ‘big girl book’ on Wattpad. That moment changed everything. It made me fall in love with reading in a way that shaped who I am. Even after I outgrew Wattpad and embraced authors like Emily Henry, I still find myself craving this story. It’s nostalgia in its purest form. A comfort. A memory. A love I never saw coming.
‘It wasn’t the greatest book in the world—but it was my beginning. The reason I fell for stories, the reason books became my life. No award-winning novel could ever hold the power of the nostalgia this one carries. I love you, Ace and Sophia.’

I'm giving it 2 because at some point I enjoyed it a bit. But damn as much as I like a good mafia book, this is a nope.
Where do I even start? Teen angst, sweet baby jesus I know they are teenagers (well they are 18 and 19 or whatever) but damn like why? They could have been mature (yeah I read books where they are teenagers but behave so much more mature) and not go through hot and cold in their relationship. Like why bother? Oh and don't get me started on the fact that she gets pregnant and dies. First the pregnancy was like bruh why bother? I mean, really? Isn't there anything else in this wide world that could have been added to the story with more sense? See that's why I like fantasy at least you could come up with imaginary worlds and you wouldn't need to do humane stuff *eye roll* oh and we do get an alternative ending where she doesn't die and they live happily ever after but keep in mind that she is still pregnant uhhh it gave me chills. For me jus tkeep one ending, like let me hate you for the bad ending or killing someone off without and real reason. (yes I'm looking at you Veronica Roth, I still cannot forget the ending and it is one of the reasons I won't reread even if I want to reread because let's not lie, it is a good series)
I feel, these and many more tropes are fillers just to put more words in and drag the book. Let's face it that stunt with Haze, did it add anything to the story? No. I liked the way it showed that they were both abused but it didn't really show how it shaped Sofie? Ace yeah, I could get a feeling but her nuh uh. I could probably add more but I cannot remember them right now. See I DO NOT REMEMBER.
At some point I just wanted it to be over and I'm legit over. I just hope my mind will erase any trace of this book.
One positive thing was Ace, I really liked him. I would cherish a boyfriend like him but damn the shit happened in the book was not worth the hours and energy spent into this book. Oh and I think one of the annoying parts was the ads on the app, I know it is not part of the book but bruh did they take away my joy of living?
My rant is over, thanks for reading.
