Like a lot of other Deadpool fans, I thought this issue was a bit all over the place. I didn't mind all of the "Mercs for money" backstories - I was actually quite curious about a few of them like Terror and Slapstick. I also liked the 2099 story and am looking forward to it's follow up.

I get the reason of doing the Massacre story in Spanish, but it would have been nice to have english sub-titles in the page footer. You can kind of follow the plot on the graphics alone, but you lose all of the clever banter and jokes.

This issues does feel more like a collection of filler stories, kind of like when you're watching a TV drama and you get an episode where the story only focuses on sideline characters, while you impatiently wait for the main story line continues.

This one was bad, very very bad. There is only one story for Deadpool. ONE. This is Deadpool collection, yeah it's good to get backstory on his Deadpool Mercs but one per collection? Or a collection of their own? We don't need this with Deadpool. Why are they wasting time? Not to mention space. Plus two of these stories were in Spanish. That's great and all, but I had to skip them, I can't read it. Deadpool 2099 was interesting, again don't know why it was included in this, yeah I suppose it's relevant but give it it's own? I saw the bad reviews for this, but I still had to get it just because it's part of the series. Ugh.

More a collection of random short stories than a story proper. The Deadpool 2099 issue is probably the best part. Kinda mad that they didn't include the English-language version of Deadpool 3.1, too.

Hard to give this more than 3 stars, in fact even that was a push.
There is only one issue attached the current storyline. That is good. Deadpool is losing it and looking to smite everybody in his book of grudges, starting with Iron Fist.
Then we have a selection of mini comics with some backstory for the rest of the team. I liked most of those but didn't like Slapstick (he's a clown ffs) or Masacre (most of his was in Spanish).
Then we come to my biggest bugbear. Issue 3.1. It's written completely in Spanish. I have no idea what was going on, the artwork for that issue was unimpressive, so there no reason for me to attempt to decipher the meaning of the panels. Total waste of pages :(
And then we come to Deadpool 2099. If this is an example of the 2099 series then I hope I haven't bought any more of it. Deadpool isn't Deadpool, it's -- hope can't say because that little spoiler is the only thing that kept me reading to the end. Didn't like the story or the art style. And FYI the politicians on the tv were just a little too close for comfort in year current political climate.
