* Warning - this review WILL be a little spoilery, and a little ranty *

I skipped whole sections of the book but I'm still continuing it as a read because I hated Josh's character and I can't discount the torture I went through.

It's not like I have a problem with characters with hard past and problems but he didn't work on himself once, only at the end that he had an epiphany and was suddenly "fixed". It would have been fine if he worked on himself throughout the book and became less of a dick over time but Nooo he had to keep his mentally throughout the whole book, until the very end.

It's honestly like the author forgot to do character development and than when she got to the end she panicked and flipped his character around just from one meeting! It just doesn't work like that! I honestly hated every scene with him in it, expect maybe the one he woke up in the middle of the night and felt the baby moving but than he was all like "I need to keep my distance. Love clouds judgment so I am going to just keep compartmentalizing, keeping them safe is all that matters" and all that jazz.

So yeah I didn't like the book, Lynsey was fine but I still didn't like her character all that much.

The cover is truly horrendous.

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was such a great read and I couldn't put it down. If you like a good pregnancy trope, then this is definitely up your alley. Strongly recommended.

Story or Lynsey and Josh

Loved this book, it had a great mix of comedy and tough topics. I laughed and cried through this book and I loved the ending.

This is the first book of Amy that I have read and I can see me reading more.
