This book was really good , Luca was very thoughtful in my opinion but I hated one thing
the fact that he cheated on her
that trope is one of my most hated tropes literally hate it with passion but I'm glad aria was able to put a stop towards that. Other than that this book is a greate read and it's easy and quick fast paced yet so comforting and just a really good general read.

This book was so fast paced and I flew through it! I can’t wait to see the other sisters get their own stories and I’m about to binge the rest of the series.
However, this book has the cheating trope!! It would have been 5⭐️ otherwise… but I hated the cheating and I hated how they talked about the girl after it.

Tropes/Themes: Arranged Marriage, Possessive MMC, Mafia Romance
Amount of spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Explicitness: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I’ve re-read this one honestly, probably at least ten times and I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed it yet. Do I think this is the most ground-breaking, well written book ever? No, I really don’t but damn it’s a lot of fun. Aria and Luca are so hot and I love that Cora has managed to write a relationship that is somehow slow burn and also not at all slow burn at the same time. I can’t explain it, you’ll just have to believe me or read it for yourself.

Aria genuinely hates Luca to begin with and is completely terrified of him so it was so fun to read how they slowly went from not trusting each other to being totally obsessed with each other. Luca is possessive and ridiculous and I loved it and Aria is sweet, mature and a total mother hen. They’ll always be extra special to me because this was the first mafia romance I had ever read.

Also, special mention for the great supporting characters and the beautiful sister relationship Aria and Gianna have.

Aria didn’t want to love him.   Yeah, I like the arranged marriage trope, and this one handled it quite well.  Not a huge age gap, and she was 18 when they married.   I liked this story quite a lot.

This book was ok.
The cheating part just wasn’t it and there was barely any grovelling from Nico, he basically said he won’t cheat again and they were all happy couple soon after
