didn't hate it. didn't love it either.
let's address the spicy scenes first. now, if you know me from a reader's standpoint, you know a love a book with some spice. however, the smut in this was written so... uncomfortably it made even MY skin crawl. if it had been written better, i likely would've given the book three stars instead of two.
the bond between luca and aria felt extremely rushed and forced. she went from wanting absolutely nothing to do with him to yearning for him to jump her bones in the next chapter. it was just very odd and not believable whatsoever.
judging by how much of a letdown this book was, i more than likely will not continue to read the rest of this series. i am a bit curious about how gianna and matteo's dynamic will play out, but not curious enough to force myself to endure two more books.
