Too many points in which I couldn’t get past how little characters had agency or intent in their development. Random mood swings for no reason and they’re somehow already obsessed with each other with barely any interaction.
So boring. The romance is underdeveloped. Bad dialogues, cringy descriptions.

I feel like i got smarter reading this book (?)
The first half was really good (couldn’t put it down), then it kinda slowed and the last 50 pages were really good again.
I’m frustrated that i didn’t get to experience the time walking at the end (i know i could just read the second book but nah)
Also this reminds me of Jamie and Claire in Outlander, with the going back in time thingy.

This book was paced so weirdly i don’t even know. Loved the European history parts but the science stuff and how “passionate” the romance was was just lost on me
