Collins. My guy needs to calm down and read the room. Mother dear and Father dear, how on earth does there relationship work? What does their love for each other even look like???
No spoilers for the relationships but my guess is that you are starting to read this after watching the movie. There are a few differences to be refreshing but we all know how it ends.

This is a reread for me, but I haven't read the book in full since I was 17, and oh, what a difference 7 years have made! The prose, the wit, the satire, the romance! Listening to this book (with the Audible original version narrated by Rosamund Pike) has been an eye-opening experience. Before, I never truly appreciated the jokes, the depth of the characters. Having also now seen some of the very parts of the country where this book is set made the retreading/listening experience all the more rich. This is the best, the best, the BEST book. The 11 hours I've spent listening to it are among the most soothing and happy of my life, and I encourage every person everywhere to get themselves a copy and marvel at Jane Austen's excellent work.
