adventurous challenging mysterious sad medium-paced
Loved it. It held my interest better than any book in a while. It's a heartbreaking story, but Krakauer makes you wonder about a lot of things.

The first two thirds of the book were frustrating and slow; I felt like I really had to crawl through it. The last third made everything click together. It's quite possible that I'm just not meant for this style of book, but I am glad I read it.
