*Review of Volumes 10-12*
Things are getting interesting! Yato's dad really is something. And here I was actually liking him. Learning stuff about the undead world and seeing Yukine and Yato grow closer is always great!
Things are getting interesting!
As one could probably tell by the cover, this has a TON of backstory. It’s a little disconcerting how much backstory was included. Most of the time we get just a few pages, but not this time around.
Because of the length and story in the backstory, it began to drag. Noragami before this volume was really good at pacing and keeping the reader’s interest.
It was fairly interesting but some parts of the volume just weren’t my cup of tea.

So far, the series is amazing!! The art, the characters, the action, even the funny bits... Hope it'll continue to be this way.
This volume was effectively Yato's entire backstory from when he was much younger as well as his relationship with Father. It was interesting and I liked learning more about the God's Secret, but at the same time I wish we didn't need to dedicate an entire volume to it. That being said, this wasn't a bad volume and I did like learning more about gods and shinki, though Mizuchi can go fucking drown in a river for all I care.
