Enjoyed this a lot!! I read the Appeal last year and liked it, but it was just slightly too long—this was the perfect length and a super fun mystery.

3.5 This was definitely a fan-service book, so I think it was good that she made it into a novella, instead of a novel. It was cute, and I was glad The Fairway Players were back, although the characters really annoyed me this time around. I did like that the mixed media had more than just emails this time around, and had more texts, calls, announcements.. Etc.

“It’s a panto in a church hall, Elsie, what’s the worst that can happen?”

The audio production of the book was so much fun.
It is quite amusing.
I really liked the what's app, email, text message exchanges.

Good story line, good characters - but this format [texts and emails] is just not for me.
