I loved this spin off book!

The Appeal is one of my favourite books of all time so when I got this yesterday I was more than thriller! I devoured this book in 2 hours. I loved that the characters were the same and the format of the book was exactly the same.

I loved the Appeal when I first read it. The style of writing is just so different to anything else I’ve read and seeing the events unfold in ‘real time’ from the perspectives of the characters was so interesting. Desperately trying to complete this year’s reading challenge I spotted the Christmas Appeal in the shops and thought it’d be the perfect easy quick read that was intriguing at the same time.

I loved revisiting the Fairway Players characters again in a calamity filled pantomime featuring an asbestos filled beanstalk, accidental drug deals and a dead Santa. Really enjoyable read and wish there were more books with these characters!
