Where is the Christmas???? It’s not in this book! The play isn’t even a holiday play. The reveal is rather underwhelming. I cannot recommend.

The Christmas Appeal revisits a dramatic group of performers as they uncover a decades old crime. I could have used a refresher on the past case and personalities before beginning this book to get the maximum enjoyment out of the story.

Times have changed since the last time we were with The Fairway Players, but drama is once again afoot. Behind the stage politics ramps up when a new leader is in charge of the performers, but when an old body shows up, things get interesting!

I had fun with this novella. You get to play along with the lawyers as they try to determine who died and who killed them. I do wish I had re-read The Appeal to reintroduce myself to the players. There are a lot of interesting dynamics going on that I think would mean more if the original story is more fresh. It was still a fun story with humorous moments. I do love the way the story is told through emails and texts.
