A cute novella set in the same universe as Hallett’s The Appeal. It’s more rewarding to read if you have read the first one, but not a must. Not a super exciting mystery, but a cozy Christmas read.

A quick read of a very entertaining Christmas book. The premise is original, with a cast of characters typical of any Amateur Dramatic Group. I particularly liked the very subtle humour within the messages as different group messages are revealed, very clever.

this has been enough of a flavour of the author that I want to read more. A well deserved Encore!
