Fairly good but missing one important thing
And that is Mackenzie August. He’s the main character, sure, but the story is missing all the elements that drew me to this series. I had thought August was a good follow-on to Spenser (from the Robert Parker series) but this book lacks the inner conflicts and tensions that made Spenser so interesting.
