Plot feels like a repeat of the last series but I do enjoy the interpersonal. Was expecting that ending for sure. Still intrigued and expect to keep reading at some point

This was a fine second book, it meandered a bit, especially with the introduction to the shadow born.
Again I felt like the forgiveness of the horrible transgressions committed against the main character were forgiven WAY too easily. Also I totally called the ending,

there is no way you keep mentioning the dead twin unless he was going to be the brainwashed villain of the next book

 Diría que me decepcionó esta lectura, pero tampoco sé qué estaba esperando.

El primer libro no me gustó, pero continué para saber cómo iba a continuar la historia, o si iba a haber algún cambio de los personajes. Pero nada.
Ninguno de los tipos se volvió más pasable, Riva se volvió menos épica, y la historia se volvió innecesariamente más complicada, y más fome.

I don’t know..felt very repetitive and a lot of running around but not really getting anything done. The cliffhanger might’ve got me to continue to the next book but I just felt like it was going to be another unproductive goose chase with a sprinkle here and there of things I was looking forward to
