While the premise sounds great, I was completely turned off by the new agey talk- there is no way   consider myself " divine." " The god within you" talk ruined it for me.

"Don't Believe Everything You Think", the title of the book is truly what enticed me to read it, so I bought the book! Once I started reading it, it didn't take long to see how confident the writer, Joseph Nguyen is in his opinions and philosophy, that is one of the aspects of the book which I appreciated. There were some details in this book like the Zen stories and the many many quotes in this book that made the book easier to read and carried out the concepts well. That's about all the positive I have to say as, even though I do think some of the advice in this book is great I don't agree with most of the opinions of the author. I don't think that thinking less is the solution of a lot of the problems he has discussed.
Reading this book with an open mind was quite helpful, I found some great advice and quotes in this book and generally I would recommend it. That's about it.

Mange interessante perspektiver og tanker, men blir for fluffy

This book really helped me with over thinking. It also broke down different reasons why over thinking happens.

What a load of absolute garbage. I was hopeful this would hold some actual good perspectives but the moral of this story is: just stop thinking! Ugh, never again with these self help books.
