Artists can be a bit strange, and Jasper Peacock is no exception. He is one with his art, from his connection with his brush to the finished image. He is also quite comfortable with death.
I am never disappointed when reading a short story by Paula Cappa. I love beautiful prose written about dark subjects, and that is her specialty. The words are so artfully crafted as to paint an image in the reader's mind.
In the short time it takes to read "Jasper Peacock," there is a journey through life and death and perhaps something more.
