Well, that was depressing. At least it was short.
dark emotional sad medium-paced

I've read this book a few times. The time I remember most was in the backyard of my parents' house in the middle of the summer. I tried reading it to cool me down as it was hot and we didn't have a/c. It worked!

I finished this very quickly, less than two hours. It definitely didn't end in the way I thought it would.

I loved it. The prologue was a little hard to get through, but once that was over with it just flew by. There is a simplicity to the store with one main plot continuing through, contrary to a lot of modern stories. I was able to read all of it (besides the prologue) on a 2 hour flight. I loved how love was described, it perfectly sums up how I want to be looked at and desired.
