I'm kicking myself for not reading this sooner. My man royal is a sexy god. Protective, loving, hurt, angsty man. Can I accidentally open his door and get into a staring match with him too. This man can tattoo every inch of my skin and I'd take it all day. The pain this man has been through broke my heart. Thank god for Avalon. The way she saved this man and brought him back to life was beautiful. The love I have for her. This book had me laughing so much and tearful the next. I just wish it was longer. I wanted more time with them. Blaine needs a book.

I had trouble continuing at first because this book is intense. Royal is a broken man who thinks he doesn't deserve Avalon. Watching their relationship evolve is amazing. Then there is a plot twist for the ages! This story has the HEA that even a broken man deserves.

I've been going through my Kindle and reading those books that I say I'm going to get to but never do.... WHY THE HELL DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS!! Seriously, next time just put Victoria's books as next in line to read. I could not put this book down. I read it in less than a day. I had to stop reading for sleep but that's it.
