The author did an incredible job of getting me to care deeply about all the characters and their varied opinions on vaccinations.
3.75 for a discussion worthy book about a controversial topic. A book to be read and discussed by a group. The topic will surely divide opinion!

This'll teach me to add books to my "To read list" without properly reading the blurb or reviews!
This has well over 4 stars on the ratings, which is usually an indication of a great book. While I don't dispute this is an important and timely topic (vaccination), the story was created solely to deliver a debate on vaccination. I am a scientist and a strong proponent of vaccination, but I don't want a story about vaccination, with some characters thrown in, I want a story about some engrossing characters with a strong plot that happens to involve vaccination.
Perhaps some people will find this interesting, and deep and controversial - unfortunately for me it was vapid and superficial, but I will admit to being curious enough to finish it to find the outcome of the court case.

3.5 stars.
Really interesting read on the topic of vaccinations, highlighting how our choices can affect those around us. Although fiction it plays out the argument with equal weight which I really liked.

Thought this was fantastic. Brilliantly written and such a different and interesting topic.
A hugely impressive page turner. Two best friends, complete opposites but it works. Relatable for most of us. Less relatable is the huge life decision in which both of them couldn’t be on more opposite sides. This book was so interesting, I couldn’t decide whose side I was one from one page to the next. A great idea and a great story. I was already recommending it to people and then I got to the ending. Unreal. Unexpected. Unforeseen. A true gasping, page turning moment.
Great read!

It's hard to believe that this is a debut novel. It certainly gives food for thought.
It looks at the prickly subject of should we or shouldn't we vaccinate our children.
Bryony and Elizabeth are best friends but they are polar opposites. One is an anti-vaxer, the other can't get her child vaccinated for medical reasons.
Who is right and would you change your opinion if your choice could affect another child's life?
The characters are believable and both sides of the argument are well laid out. I didn't change my beliefs but, sometimes, it's good to see things from another point of view.
A very timely novel given the world we are living in.
