I loved this book! I wish there was more action between Sorinda and Kearan, but I still love it. Levenseller has a powerful and fun voice, her books are fast but entertaining as hell. I love that it doesn’t crush my heart like a lot of YA books do. It’s fun and adventurous while not being heavy or stressful.

The third one in the series. As a slight spoiler - the protagonist does switch. I was unaware of this so I was terribly confused when the book first started. I am really amazed at how well Levenseller writes her characters & storylines. I do wish that this book was a touch longer because I found the bad guy to be really interesting and would have loved to see more about him. Also, the romance in this one was really satisfying - this is more my strand of “enemies-to-lovers”
